Re-usable Bags - It’s a “DO”!

I had been using re-usable bags for quite some time when I decided to design my very own (pictured). At first, it was merely to help visitors to my Farmers Markets “do one thing green”, but now, it has become a little bit of a passion for me to create something that is a little more utilitarian and produce-friendly.

For now, I have one that does not have a stable bottom that I usually use for breads and lighter groceries and I love my wide, reinforced bottom bags and can actually pack 2 gallons of milk and more into them! I have one from a grocer here that actually has dividers and a pocket in it like a big purse. A friend just sent me one from a grocer in Ohio that is zippered and insulated, that will be great for keeping stuff cold on my walks back from the store. I have heard about re-usable produce bags but have not seen any yet…

On a final note, re-usable bags make wonderful gifts! I have over a dozen and keep at least half in my vehicle at all times so I always have one handy! I’ll keep you updated on my brand new bags coming soon!

Till Tomorrow…Live Green!
