Our half pint jars pack a powerful fragrant punch!  They are filled with our richly scented, dye-free, premium soy wax blend, and contain lead free wicks. They are topped with a rustic silver lid.  Approximate burn time is 70 hours. Choose from one of our many available scents.

Bamboo & Basil - the clean fresh scent of bamboo with a hint of basil herb

Brown Sugar & Fig - a magical fragrance composed of top notes of fresh figs, peaches, and passion fruit; followed by middle notes of coconut milk, vanilla orchid, jasmine, muguet, and freesia; well-balanced with base notes of vanilla beans, caramel, maple sugar, fig leaves, and musk.

Fresh Cut Grass ~ true to its name...the wonderful fresh aroma of freshly cut green grass.

 Jar Candle Safety & Burning Instructions
• Before lighting candle, remove any excess packaging (bows, ribbons, hang tags, etc)
• Follow ALL above general safety rules
• For best fragrance results, allow candle to burn one hour per inch of diameter to achieve a full melt pool.  If you don't get a full melt pool the first time, relax, it'll catch up on consecutive burns.  :)
• To recycle jar for other purposes once candle is used, heat jar on a candle-approved warming plate.  Allow remaining wax to melt, wipe out excess with a paper towel, and wash jar with soap and water.

All of our beeswax candles are made from 100% pure beeswax and cotton wicks. They never contain petroleum-based paraffin wax or lead wicks!

Raw Beeswax – Scented by honey and colored by pollen, Raw Beeswax is beeswax in its purest form. Many candle and wax folks refer to Raw Beeswax as “natural”.  Beeswax is a sweet, simple renewable fuel that burns long and bright. It is non-toxic and hypo allergenic. Beeswax has the highest melting point of any other candle wax and thus provides ridiculously long burn times.

Unscented oatmeal - Olive oil, coconut oil, goat milk, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, palm kernel oil, canola oil, shea butter, ground oatmeal.  This is a great bar for sensitive skin - some people are highly sensitive to fragrance, and oatmeal is a long-standing remedy for dry or itchy skin.

Cocoa Mint - Olive oil, coconut oil, goat milk, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, palm kernel oil, canola oil, shea butter, peppermint essential oil, organic cocoa powder.   The mint is good for refreshing and wake-up showers, and the cocoa powder has all the lovely natural antioxidants that all chocolate has.

Citrus Calendula - Olive oil, coconut oil, goat milk, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, palm kernel oil, canola oil, shea butter, essential oils of sweet orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, and may chang, finely chopped organic calendula petals, red Moroccan clay.   The clay and the citrus essential oils are good for detoxifying, and calendula is another long-standing skin care herb - good for itchy skin.   There is no artificial colorant - the color of the soap is entirely from the herbs, essential oils, and clay.

Jennifer earned her green credentials early in life.  As a young girl she tended her own patch and grew strawberries without the use of pestcides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.  Soon, she had taken over her parents' garden to add vegetables to her harvest of delicious fruits.  It was only natural that one day Jennifer would become a certified organic farmer.

Today, Jennifer still tends her organic gardens (only they are somewhat bigger now) and spends much of her time helping her fellow farmers get their produce and products direct to the public.  Over a decade ago, Jennifer set up her first certified farmers' market in southern California bringing fresh fruits and vegetables and artisan ware to over 80,000 people every week and growing.  Jennifer is an acknowledged leader of the organic and local food movements.
