Jennifer earned her green credentials early in life.  As a young girl she tended her own patch and grew strawberries without the use of pestcides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.  Soon, she had taken over her parents' garden to add vegetables to her harvest of delicious fruits.  It was only natural that one day Jennifer would become a certified organic farmer.

Today, Jennifer still tends her organic gardens (only they are somewhat bigger now) and spends much of her time helping her fellow farmers get their produce and products direct to the public.  Over a decade ago, Jennifer set up her first certified farmers' market in southern California bringing fresh fruits and vegetables and artisan ware to over 80,000 people every week and growing.  Jennifer is an acknowledged leader of the organic and local food movements.
